Dear HC,
It blows my mind that you are FOUR MONTHS OLD. I mean, really, 4 months old? Where did that come from.
At 4 months old, you are getting 5-6 oz of milk (breast or formula) at a time. You get some apple or pear juice every couple of days and you LOVE it. You still spend a lot of your nap time in your swing, but I think you’re afraid you might miss something, because it take a lot of work to get you down for a nap.
You sit in your high chair and kick your feet up on the tray. You sit in your bumbo chair.
You smile A TON. You get extra smiley with your daddy. You also really smile during your diaper changes.
You sleep through the night *knock on wood.* Sometimes I think you might be the easiest baby girl ever.
You like to keep your fingers in your mouth all the time, but you don’t have a whole lot of interest in your paci.
You like to talk to your momma. We have long conversations about what you did today, who you’re hanging out with at Ms. V’s, etc. Momma loves it.
You’ve taken a real interest in the pups. You watch them a lot.
You get instantly calm in the bath tub. I think that you may have bubble baths in your future.
You are just generally awesome. You’re still wearing size 1 diapers and 0-3 month clothes, but we’re starting to find stuff that doesn’t fit so well. You still sleep in a pack n play in mommy and daddy’s room. That’s probably because mommy doesn’t want to have you so far away.
You are very loved by your parents, and I try to make sure that you get told that at least 10000 times a day.
